Bye, bye, JR #Dallas

Is life imitating art?

Am I the only one intrigued to see just how JR departs Dallas this evening?

I think it was Woody Allen who said: I’m not afraid of death, I just don’t want to be there when it happens.

Well, the writers, director, producers and actors all knew that this latest series of Dallas would be Larry Hagman’s last.

So when he ‘kicks the bucket’ tonight, it must have been weird for them all.

Personally I think it would be great to write your own departure. I wonder how much say ole grumpy had in his final scene?

JR has played out his ultra- conniving, stetson-wearing, eye-twinkling self to the very end…brilliantly.

I do hope he goes out in a blaze of glory.

He certainly won’t be able to come back in the shower 😉

It is said that life is not a rehearsal.

But then sometimes…it is!

Okay, so I already said this two weeks ago. But now it is really happening and thanks to the power of the worldly wide web, we already know what happens…or do we?

I have a theory and I promise to tell you if I am right, when we find out in a few weeks time.
